Mister Chairman,
Mister Head of Mission of the Kingdom of Morocco to the United Nations, Dear colleagues,
Ladies and Gentlemen,
I wish to warmly thank you for your invitation. 1 am all the happier to be with you that it is with great interest that I took part in each phase of the process of research and presentations stemming from the Moroccan Autonomy Initiative for the Sahara. Through a comparative reading, these seminars successively highlighted major issues: the right ta self-determination, democracy, govemance and human rights and the management of natural resources.
